Guide to the Accommodation Tax

Kyoto City has been collecting accommodation tax since October 01, 2018.
Accordingly, guests staying at our hotel must pay this tax separately from the accommodation fees.

■Payments that are subject to accommodation tax

■Payments that are not subject to accommodation tax
*Fees that are incurred besides accommodation fees (such as meal fees)
*Consumption tax

Regarding the payment of accommodation tax, please note that our hotel will receive the following amounts when you check in, in accordance with the accommodation fee.

[Accommodation fee per 1 person]
Less than JPY 20,000 will be JPY 200
From JPY 20,000 to JPY 50,000 will be JPY 500
JPY 50,000 or more will be JPY1,000
*The accommodation tax rate is the tax rate for the accommodation fees for a 1 guest, 1 night stay.

Breakfast services are not included in resevations made after 6pm on the same date.
Guests with food allergies or preferences are advised to notify the property in advance via the Special Request box.
The property might not be able to provide special foods for allergies or special dietary requests.
Notice of Room Renovation Work
Thank you for your continued patronage of the hotel.
During the following period, there will be a renovation work carried out on some of our floors and will close the entire hotel.
There will be vibration, noise, and odor may occur during the construction work.
We appreciate your understanding in advance if you plan to stay during this period.
(Scheduled) ・Some floors: September 30, 2024 - December 20, 2024 (scheduled) ・Total closure: January 6, 2025 - March 28, 2025 (scheduled) 【Location】 ・September 30, 2024 -: 8th to 10th floors ・January 6, 2025 -: 3rd to 7th floors 【Time】 9:00am - 06:00pm
Noise-generating work will be conducted from 11:00am - 03:00pm
Work that generates noise will be performed between 11:00am and 03:00pm
During the work period, workers will come and go within the building, and the building will be protected. The work schedule is subject to change without notice depending on weather conditions and the progress of the work. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and trouble this may cause. We appreciate your understanding.
