【Accommodation Tax from September 1, 2025】
Starting September 1, 2025, local tax regulations require guests to pay an accommodation tax, which will be collected separately at the hotel during check-in. The tax is charged per person, per night, based on the room rate as follows:

• For room rates from JPY 5,000 to less than JPY 15,000: JPY 200 per person, per night
• For room rates from JPY 15,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400 per person, per night
• For room rates of JPY 20,000 or more: JPY 500 per person, per night

The Osaka Lodging Tax will change effective Monday, September 1, 2025.
It will be applied from the stay on Monday, September 1, 2025, regardless of the date of the lodging contract or payment of lodging and other charges.
