【Accommodation Tax from September 1, 2025, onwards】
As of 1 September 2025, changed local tax regulations require guests to pay accommodation tax at various updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property during the check-in process. The tax is charged per person, per night, based on the room rate as follows:
According to local tax regulation, guests should pay accommodation tax surcharge directly to the property upon check-in (per person per night):
Accommodation tax of JPY 100 is charged at the property per person per night for room rates JPY 7,000 and over and less than JPY 15,000.
Accommodation tax of JPY 200 is charged at the property per person per night for room rates less than JPY 20,000.
Accommodation tax of JPY 300 is charged at the property per person per night for room rates of JPY 20,000 and over.
As of 01 September 2025, an additional accommodation tax will be added to the total cost as follows: Accommodation Tax (Per Person Per Night): Over JPY 5,000 to JPY 14,999 / JPY 200 Over JPY 15,000 to JPY 19,999 / JPY 400 Over JPY 20,000 / JPY 500.
