We will depart for Uplistsikhe, an ancient city with a long history and a popular tourist destination in Georgia. It is a significant historical and cultural site in Georgia. Located in the Mtkvari (Mtkvari River) valley, we will explore the cave village, divided into three sections. The central section is the largest and most spacious, housing a wealth of ancient architecture. These sections were constructed using rock-cutting and excavated into the caves, often used as dwellings. The interior is connected through tunnels and narrow passages, with steps leading to various points within the caves. Archaeologists have uncovered numerous artifacts, including ancient gold and silverware, as well as ceramics and exquisite carvings. These items are now housed in the Stalin Museum. We will then depart for Gori, a small, historically significant town in Georgia.
