10.55 hrs. Depart for Gaya, Republic of India by Thai Airways flight TG 327 (approximately 2.50 hours). Lunch will be served on the plane.

Arrived at the Bodhi Tree, after passing through the security checkpoint, the group will pay homage to the Buddha of Metta enshrined in the Great Stupa and pay homage to the Bodhi Tree. Then, visit the Seven Great Places, the Dharma places where the Buddha enjoyed the bliss of liberation after 49 days of enlightenment, consisting of:
1. “Vajrasana Throne” under the Bodhi Tree, where he sat and enjoyed the bliss of liberation for 7 days
2. “Animis Chedi” where he stood and stared into the Bodhi Tree Without blinking for 7 days in the 2nd week.
3. “Ratana Jongkram Chedi”, created a meditation base and walked with his feet for 7 days in the 3rd week.
4. “Ratana Ghara Chedi”, went to the northeast of the Bodhi tree and sat cross-legged in the glass house created by the angels. He contemplated the Abhidhamma for 7 days in the 4th week.
And visited the replicas built around the Buddha Gaya pagoda and listened to lectures on the significance of various places and important Buddhist sites around, including:
5. He sat cross-legged under the “Banyan tree” for 7 days under the Ajapala Nikro tree, the shepherd’s residence in the 5th week.

Arriving at the gate of Rajgir City, passing by old cart tracks, assumed to be the same tracks as during the time of the Buddha, continue by car to Khao Khitchakut to pay homage to the Buddha's perfumed chamber. It is a walk up high with not too steep steps, easy to walk. The total distance is about 800 meters, taking about 30 minutes to walk up the mountain. If you are not comfortable walking or have knee problems, we recommend the palanquin service by the locals (please inform the tour leader and pay the fee of 1,400 rupees per person for both the outbound and return trips). During the time of the Buddha, King Bimbisara of Rajgir City, the capital of Magadha, also used this path to travel up to pay homage to the Buddha. On the way up to Khao Kitchakut, stop to pay homage at Tham Sukkhata, the place where Phra Sariputta attained Arahantship, see the hut of Phra Anan, the cave of Phra Moggallana, and the place where Phra Devadatta rolled a stone and dropped it on the Buddha until his feet bled. When you reach the peak of Khao Kitchakut, the sacred place of the Buddha, pay homage to the Mulagandhakuti, the place where the Buddha resided. Free time for you to chant and meditate. When the time is right, we will take you down to get on the car. Along the way, we will pass Wat Chivakamwan, the first hospital for monks, and Tapotaram, the place where the four castes of Indians bathe to wash away their sins. Take a car to visit “Wat Weluwan”, the first temple in Buddhism that King Bimbisara granted the royal park of the bamboo forest and built Wat Weluwan to offer as a Buddhist offering to the Lord Buddha. It is also a place where 1,250 noble monks, all of whom were Ehi Bhikkhu Upasampada, meaning the Lord Buddha ordained them himself. They gathered together without prior arrangement, which led to “Makha Bucha Day”. Continue the journey to Nalanda (travel time approximately 45 minutes). Upon arrival at Nalanda, pay homage to the granite Buddha statue “Luang Pho Dam”, which was a Buddha statue that survived the burning of Islam in the 18th Buddhist century when Buddhism was being suppressed, monks were killed, and Nalanda University, the first Buddhist university in the world, was burned down. It is said that someone tried to move Luang Pho Dam to another place to make it look more suitable and elegant, but they could not move it, so they finally gave up. Then continue to “Nalanda Village”, the birthplace of Sariputta, the right-hand chief disciple, which later became the location of the prosperous Nalanda University. Tang Sanzang (Chinese monk Yuan Chang) once traveled here in the 11th Buddhist century and studied the Dharma and was the president of this university. In Buddhism, it was the most famous university in the world about 1,500 years ago and there were more than 10,000 monks who studied the Dharma at this place. Now, only the abandoned brick building and the university map remain.

Take you to Patna city (Patna), taking about 2.30 hours by car. During the time of the Buddha, it was called Pataliputra, Magadha. In the past, this city was the place where the 3rd Dharma and Vinaya Council was held at Ashoka Rama. This place was also the place where Buddhism was spread throughout India during the time of King Ashoka the Great. It is currently the capital of Bihar state.

Take a car to Vesali City, it takes about 3 hours by car. Cross the Mahatama Ghandhi Setu Bridge, a bridge built across the Ganges River from Patna City to Vesali City. It is the longest bridge in India. It was built during the time of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi to commemorate the great man of India, Mahatma Gandhi.

Afternoon Visit the Kutakhara Hall of Mahawan Forest Monastery, a monastery built by the Licchavi King for the Lord Buddha of the Vajji Kingdom during the time of the Buddha. It is believed to be located in the Himalayan forest and the place where the Buddha stayed during the rainy season. See the Ashoka Pillar with a lion in a seated position facing the east in the most perfect form.
Take a car to pay homage to the Pavala Chedi, the place where the Lord Buddha passed away for the last time. Three months later, he passed away to Nirvana at Kusinagara. At present, only the base of the Pavala Chedi remains, made of hard gray stone. The Japanese government has built a round zinc roofed pavilion painted white and has an iron fence.
Then, continue the journey to Kusinagara (approximately 5 hours). Along the way, pass by the Kesriya Stupa, the largest stupa in India, the prototype of the Borobudur Stupa.

Take you to Salavana Grove, the 2nd Buddhist pilgrimage site. Visit Parinirvana Temple and pay homage to the Reclining Buddha in the Parinirvana posture as if you were really paying homage to the body of the Lord Buddha and Parinirvana Stupa. Then take you on the car. Go a short distance to pay homage to the place where the body of Lord Buddha was cremated at Makutabandhu Chedi. When you come to this place, you will feel sad for the passing of the father of Buddhism.

Depart for Lumbini City, Nepal (travel time 4 hours) Before reaching the border of the passport checkpoint leaving India, entering Nepal, stop by to rest at Wat Thai 960. When the time is right, invite you to board the car. Arrive at the immigration checkpoint on the Indian side. Please scan your fingerprints and stamp your exit stamp from India. Then, gather again to take you to the immigration checkpoint on the Nepal side. Please note that the clock on your mobile phone or SMART WATCH will automatically adjust the time. Then enter Wat Phra Chetawan Maha Vihara, which was the most important and longest residence of the Buddha (19 years). In this monastery area, you can pay homage to Ananda Bodhi, the Bodhi tree planted by Phra Anan during the time of the Buddha. This Bodhi tree is evidenced in the scriptures and still stands to the present. Take a tour of the Buddha's private bathing pond, the residence of Phra Rahula, Phra Maha Kassapa Thera, Phra Sivali and Phra Sariputta respectively. Invite you to chant and worship the place as you wish.
When the time is right, invite you to get on the car to visit other important places.
Take a tour of Anathapindika's house, he was a great supporter of the Buddha and the monks. This is one of the reasons why the Lord Buddha stayed at the Jetavana Monastery, which he built, for 19 more years than any other residence. Nearby, visit Angulima's father's house and the mound where the Lord Buddha performed the Twin Miracle. Passing through the area where it is assumed that the earth swallowed up Devadatta in the end of his life when he traveled to pay homage to the Lord Buddha. To the southeast of the Sri Lankan temple, there is an ancient well. It is said to be a memorial to Nang Chinchamanawika, who was swallowed up by the earth when she committed a great sin, until the earth could not hold it and had to separate according to the legend.

Wake up and take you to the banks of the Ganga River. The group boarded a boat (about 40 minutes) to see the morning life of the real Hindus. Hindus believe that it is a sacred river because it flows from Mt. Kailash in heaven (according to the geography, this river flows from the Himalayas, the Tibetan Plateau). This bend of the Ganga River has both Hindu and Buddhist beliefs. You can watch the Hindu bathing ceremony on the banks of the Ganga River and the cremation ceremony that has been around for more than 4,000 years, with the fire that burns the corpses never extinguished.

Depart for the city of Sarnath (about 7 kilometers from Varanasi). It is considered a delicate meal that still holds meaning for Buddhists to this day. See the banks of the Neranchara River where the Lord Buddha prayed and floated the golden tray offered by Suchada along with the rice pudding at Suppatittha Pier. From this pier, you can see the Mahabodhi Stupa. Then travel to the area of ​​the Sri Mahabodhi Tree and the Mahabodhi Stupa of Bodhgaya, which is free for pilgrims to pray, meditate, and pay their respects privately.
