Noon: Lunch (Meal 1).
Depart for Otaru (approximately 2.5 hours). This small coastal port city is significant and historic. This beautiful and peaceful city is a dream destination for many tourists. Take photos and check in at Otaru, a symbol of romance and its captivating charm. Otaru Canal, a cultural route that preserves the uniqueness of traditional Japanese life along both sides of the canal. These old warehouses along the canal have been converted into various restaurants and museums. Both sides of the canal are lined with souvenir shops. Experience the beauty and charm of Otaru. Handmade glassware. Kitachi Glass, Otaru's most famous glassware production center, is a place where you can admire the beauty of colorful glassware, creating a world of imagination. There are also a wide variety of glassware for you to admire and purchase. This city is famous for its various glassware, such as blown glass, cut glass, melted glass, and glass jewelry. Visit the Otokoyama Sake Brewery Museum, a museum dedicated to Otokoyama, a delicious Japanese sake with a fragrant rice aroma and a light, smooth texture. The cold temperatures of Asahikawa make it ideal for sake brewing, and the sake brewing culture is a traditional Japanese industry. - JR Tower is the tallest building in Sapporo, located next to JR Sapporo Station. It houses a department store, hotel, movie theater, and food court. - Hokkaido Shrine, located in Sapporo, is one of Hokkaido's oldest Shinto Buddhist shrines. It's easily accessible by bus or train.
- The Old Hokkaido Government Office, or Akarenga (Japanese for "red brick"), was built in 1888. It's a neo-Baroque American building modeled after the Massachusetts State House in the United States.
