Travel to Mae Sai Market, a border trade market that everyone must know because it has been famous for many decades. It is located on the border, so both Burmese and ethnic minorities come to shop for consumer goods conveniently. Just walk across to Tachilek without having to issue a border pass. There are many products for sale in the market to choose from. Whether it is food, clothes, bags, shoes or even gems and accessories, there are many to buy.
Take you to check in at the Skywalk at Wat Phra That Doi Wao or the Mae Sai Skywalk, which can be called the northernmost skywalk in Thailand. The structure is curved, the walkway is made of clear glass, approximately 150 meters long, and it is also the longest skywalk in Thailand. You can see beautiful views from both Thailand and Myanmar.
Take you to Wat Huai Plakang, another beautiful temple in Chiang Rai Province, located on a hill with hills surrounding the temple. You can see beautiful views. The highlight of this temple is "Phop Chok Tham Chedi", which is a 9-story pagoda with an unusual pointed shape, Chinese art mixed with Lanna. The red roof has dragon statues stretching along both sides of the stairs, surrounded by small pagodas of the 12 zodiac signs. Wat Huai Plakang is a temple that the locals respect and believe that if anyone visits, it will be like going to heaven. Inside the pagoda, there are Buddha statues and various arhats. Inside the pagoda are enshrined The large carved Guan Yin statue made from fragrant sandalwood. The reason why this 9-storey pagoda is called Phop Chok Tham Pagoda is because Wat Huai Plakang has been an abandoned temple since ancient times. The history of its construction is not clear. Later, Phra Ajarn Phop Chok Tissawangso renovated and built many permanent structures, so it became the center of the hearts of Chiang Rai people once again.

Wat Rong Suea Ten is considered a new prominent temple in Chiang Rai Province. In front of the entrance to the chapel, there is a large stucco work of a pair of Naga serpents in applied Thai art. In addition, the stucco work around the chapel is beautifully done in a premium quality work. This makes Wat Rong Suea Ten a place where many tourists come to visit its beauty. The art used in the construction of Wat Rong Suea Ten is called applied art, which "Salan Nok", the craftsman who built it, studied while living with Ajarn Chalermchai and used to work at Wat Rong Khun. You can see from the various flowing patterns that were all learned from the work of the teacher. But Ajarn Chalermchai's will use white tones and use glass, but Slan Nok's has adapted to use blue tones instead, to create its own identity.
Take you to Phu Chi Fa, the highest peak in the Doi Pha Mon mountain range, 1,628 meters above sea level on the side bordering the Lao People's Democratic Republic. There are steep cliffs, the most beautiful viewpoint. In winter, the scenery is especially beautiful.
