Take you to Guan Yin Bodhisattva Temple, a sacred place and place of faith for Betong people. Take you to the Piyamit Tunnel, a historical earthen tunnel built by the former Malayan Communist Party (MCP) as a base of operations for political struggle, but later returned to help develop the Thai nation. Built in 1976, the tunnel is about 1 kilometer long and used to evade air attacks and store supplies. When you walk out of the tunnel, you will find both clean and refreshing forests and streams, as well as a giant banyan tree with a very large trunk measuring about 60.8 meters in circumference and over 40 meters in height. The base of the tree has beautiful buttresses spreading roots, making the trunk look ancient. The community therefore calls it the thousand-year-old tree. This giant banyan tree used to be a camouflage tree for the entrance to the Piyamit Tunnel. It is a large tree that is important in political history and has been designated as a national heritage tree, another highlight of visiting the Piyamit Tunnel. Then, we will take you to Suan Muen Buppha or Betong Winter Flower Garden, the only winter flower garden in the South. Betong has a suitable climate, with a topography that is about 800 meters above sea level, with cool weather all year round and sufficient water, making it suitable for growing a variety of winter flowers. Amidst the mountains in the royal project of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, there are many types of flowers in full bloom. Arrive at Betong Hot Spring, a large natural hot spring covering an area of approximately 3 rai. Hot water bubbles up from underground, containing various minerals. The water temperature is approximately 80 degrees Celsius. At the point where the water boils, you can boil a chicken egg in 10 minutes. Each zone is designed to meet standards and is hygienic, including the large hot spring, the new hot spring bath, and the hydrotherapy building.
