Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Istanbul – Spice Bazaar – Turkish Delight – Bosphorus Cruise

02:30 AM: Meet at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok, 4th floor, Turkish Airlines check-in counter. Our tour guide will welcome you and assist you throughout the check-in process.
05:40 AM: Depart for Istanbul International Airport, Turkey, on Turkish Airlines flight TK 059. **Meals and beverages are served on board. The flight takes approximately 10 hours.**
12:30 PM: Arrive at Istanbul International Airport, Istanbul, Turkey. After completing passport control and baggage claim, transfer to an air-conditioned coach.
Experience a unique and exciting experience as you explore Istanbul (ISTANBUL), Turkey's most important city. With a history dating back centuries to the 14th century, its location on the Bosphorus Strait makes Istanbul the only major city in the world. Spanning two continents: Europe (the THRACE of the Bosphorus) and Asia (the Anatolian side), its beautiful architecture blends both continents, giving Istanbul a unique and distinctive identity. We'll take you to the Spice Bazaar, a spice market located near the Galata Bridge. This covered market is the second largest in Istanbul, built in the 1660s as part of the New Mosque. The bazaar offers a wide selection of products, including food, spices, Turkish sweets, jewelry, souvenirs, dried fruits, and accessories. Next, we'll visit the Turkish Delight Shop, a famous Turkish dessert known locally as Lokum. These cube-shaped sweets are made from flour and sugar, often with almonds, walnuts, pistachios, and macadamia nuts. While they typically appear deep pink, they quickly fade when served with a dusting of powdered sugar. Their sweet flavor is enhanced by the crispness and richness of high-quality nuts. Turkish people often enjoy this dish with hot tea or apple-flavored tea. Then, embark on a cruise along the Bosphorus Strait, a strait connecting the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara. Approximately 32 kilometers long and 500 meters wide, it reaches a maximum of 3 kilometers. This strait is considered the meeting point between the European and Asian continents. Beyond its beauty, the Bosphorus Strait is also a crucial strategic point in Turkey's defense. During your cruise, enjoy stunning views of the strait's banks, including Dolmabahce Palace and the European-style homes of wealthy individuals.

Blue Mosque – Hippodrome – Hagia Sophia – Canakkale – Wooden Horse Model

Breakfast will be served at the hotel restaurant.
Recommendations: Please dress appropriately for the mosque. A formal dress code is required for the mosque, and shoes must be removed.
Women: Wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts that cover the wrists, and a head covering.
Men: Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts that do not cover the head.
Guests: Visit the Blue Mosque (formerly known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque). All mosques require you to remove your shoes, hats, and sunglasses to show respect for the place. Photography is permitted. Loud noises are prohibited, and respectful behavior is requested. This mosque was built in 2152 and completed in 2159 (one year before Sultan Ahmed died at the age of 27). There are 6 minarets, which are tall towers for religious leaders to climb up and shout calls from the top to invite people to pray at the specified time inside the mosque. The name of the mosque is Blue Mosque. The interior is decorated with blue Iznik tiles with floral patterns such as roses, tulips, carnations, etc., decorated in a magnificent way. Inside, there is a place for the Sultan and ladies of the harem to pray and make offerings. There are 260 windows. The front and outside courtyards are the burial grounds of the king and the royal family. There are buildings that provide convenience to the general public such as a library, hospital, bathhouse, caravan park, public kitchen, and Kuliya. Take you to see the Hippodrome, a Greek-era building that was used as a horse racetrack. And chariot racing (CHARIOT RACING) The words Hippos and Dromos are now used in French, meaning horse racing in the heart of Moscow (CENTRAL MOSCOW HIPPODROME). Unfortunately, only the ruins of the former Constantinople Hippodrome, or present-day Istanbul, remain. Although it was grand and ancient in ancient times, built between 203-330 AD, today only 3 columns remain: the Column of Constantine VII (COLUMN OF CONSTANTINE VII), when no one knows when it was built, but it was restored in the 10th century, the second column is the Snake Column, believed to have been built 479 years before Christ, is a sculpture of 3 snakes intertwined from the city of Delphi and moved here in the 4th century. Today, only half of it remains. And the last pillar is the Egyptian pillar or obelisk of Thutmose. Built around 390 BC, the word comes from the Greek word OBELISKOS, meaning a sharp point, needle, or pointed pillar. Obelisks are tall pillars constructed from a single large block of granite. The base of the pillar is wide and gradually tapers to a four-sided square top. The top is pyramid-shaped and is often covered or coated with metal such as gold, iron, or copper. Obelisks are an artistic symbol originating from ancient Egypt. They symbolize the path to the temple of the gods. They are usually built in pairs and placed at the entrance to the temple, such as at the Luxor Temple or the Karnak Temple. The area around the obelisk is carved with deep hieroglyphics, telling the story of the pharaoh who built it and the story of its construction to worship the gods. Therefore, obelisks are like memorial pillars, indicating the significance of the location of important places or sacred sites in Egypt. Take photos outside of the Hagia Sophia Mosque, one of the Seven Wonders of the Medieval World. This Catholic church, built during the reign of King Justinian, features a rounded, mosaic roof and marble columns. Inside, stained glass windows adorn the interior. When the Turks conquered the city, they converted the church into a mosque in 1453, plastering the walls with mosaics depicting Jesus Christ and his disciples. Later, the government agreed to turn the Hagia Sophia into a museum, which retains its ancient charm. The Hagia Sophia is especially impressive today, boasting the world's fourth-largest dome, which boasts the largest interior space. The structure utilizes walls to support the weight of the building, rather than traditional pillars, a highly advanced construction technique for its time (a key reason why the Hagia Sophia is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient Middle Ages).
Lunch: Enjoy a meal at a restaurant.
Afterward, travel to Çanakkale (approximately 310 km, approximately 4 hours). Today, it's a city of significant historical significance. Formerly known as Bōgazi or Hellespont, it is 65 kilometers long and 1.3 kilometers wide at its narrowest point. Located at the narrowest point of the Dardanelles Strait near the Gelibolu Peninsula in Greece, it straddles the border between the Sea of Marmara and the Aegean Sea. Located on the Marmara Sea, where the city of Troy meets the Aegean Sea, is the site of the city of Troy. Visit and photograph the replica of the Trojan Horse by the Sea (TROJAN STATUE/HOLLYWOOD HORSE). This wooden horse is most famous from the 2004 Hollywood epic Troy, starring the world-renowned Brad Pitt. The production team commissioned a large, black wooden horse for use in the story and played a crucial role in the Troy film. The production team later presented the replica to the Turkish government as a tribute to and recognition of the city of Çanakkale.
