Let's get to know before flying with AlbaStar
Alba Star (branded as AlbaStar) is a Spanish charter and scheduled airline which is based at Palma de Mallorca Airport, Spain. The airline was founded in 2009 by Italian British entrepreneurs from the tourism and transport sectors. This was to provide chartered air transport from Italian and Spanish airports to popular touristic holiday destinations within North Africa, the Mediterranean and the Red Sea.
In July 2010, the Commercial license for Operations to transport passengers and cargo were issued to Alba Star and on the 31st July 2010 Alba Star made its first flights. The operational reliability and a deep customer-oriented attitude, characterized by the highest standards of service and determined by the important expertise of its management, has allowed to the airline to develop an excellent operating and market performance reputation from the outset. AlbaStar has collaborated extensively with many Tour Operators and the airline has established itself as the top European carrier for connections to the French city of Lourdes, departing from most European airports.
AlbaStar has a fleet made up of entirely Boeing aircraft. The airline has over 5 aircraft in its fleet, which includes a mix of Boeing 737-400 and Boeing 737-800 models.
