Let's get to know before flying with Cyprus Airway

Founded in 2016, Cyprus Airways is a subsidiary of S7 Airlines that offers international services from its hub airport Larnaca International Aiport (LCA). Other airlines that fly from the hub include Tus Airways and Eurowings. The airline flies to over ten destinations across more than five different countries.

Cyprus Airways fleet consists entirely of Airbus A319-100 aircraft. The airline has a codeshare agreement with its parent airline, S7 Airlines.

Cyprus Airlines gained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in March 2017 and flew its inaugural flight with a service from Larnaca International airport to Pulkovo Airport, St.Petersburg in June of the same month.

The airline was to originally launch as Charlie Airlines, however, in July 2016 after Cyprus Airways went bankrupt, the airline won the rights to use the Cyprus Airways name and has since operated as Cyprus Airways.
