We will travel to Oita Prefecture on Kyushu Island to visit Yufuin Village, a model OTOP village in Japan. This town is also famous for its hot springs. Within the town is Lake Kinrin, a stunning autumn foliage spot. Yufuin Village is home to shops selling local produce, fresh fruits and vegetables, and charming handmade souvenirs. Nestled amidst a picturesque green valley, Yufuin has become a popular tourist destination.

Afterward, enjoy a scenic view of Lake Kinrin, located at the foot of Mount Yufudake. The water in this lake flows from the hot springs, keeping the water warm all the time. In the morning, steam rises from the surface of the water. Kinrin Lake is another lake with beautiful natural scenery, especially during the autumn leaves and winter. Around the lake, there are paths leading into the lake, suitable for strolling and taking beautiful photos with Kinrin Lake as a backdrop. Kinrin Lake is always crowded with tourists because it is a popular photo spot. There is also a small garden, restaurants, and cafes in the area. Next, we will take you to Yumi Jigoku, a natural hot spring that was formed after a volcanic eruption. It contains concentrated minerals such as sulfur, iron ore, sodium carbonate, and radium, and is too hot to bathe in. The eight ponds are named after their scary appearance. You will then find Umi Jigoku, one of the eight famous hot springs in Beppu. It is the most popular pond because it is less beautiful and hellish than the others. From the entrance, we can see white smoke rising from large rocks, making a hissing sound all the time. As we get closer, You can feel the heat rising from beneath the earth. Before entering the boiling sea, you can visit the lotus pond first. Inside the pond, there are lotus leaves so large that small children can sit in them. Yumi Jigoku is a 150-meter-deep, blue-green hot spring like the sea. It was formed after a volcanic eruption 1,200 years ago. It contains cobalt minerals. White smoke constantly rises up from the pond. The water temperature reaches 98 degrees Celsius. You can boil an egg. Although the water is too hot to soak in, there are mineral powders available at the souvenir shop. You can dissolve them in your own bath water at home. It is said to make your skin radiant and treat skin diseases. Before leaving, don't forget to soak your feet in the hot spring pool under the pavilion (foot onsen). It will make your feet feel comfortable and give you the energy to continue walking. It is free for tourists. You can soak for as long as you want. Admission to one hot spring is included. Then you will travel to Yume Town, a large shopping mall. You are free to choose products from various shops, such as clothes, bags, shoes, home decorations, souvenirs, mochi, bento, fresh and dried fruits. You can also purchase candy and snacks as souvenirs for home.

Visit Nanzoin Temple, home to the largest bronze Buddha statue in Japan, perhaps the world, and numerous other statues and Buddha images. What makes this temple so famous is that it's the starting point of a famous pilgrimage route on Kyushu Island and one of the 88 sacred sites in Sasaguri City, where people have come to pray and confess their sins for over 180 years. Built in 1995, the temple houses the world's largest reclining Buddha, a bronze reclining Buddha measuring 41 meters long, 11 meters high, and weighing 300 tons. Inside the reclining Buddha are relics of the Buddha brought from Myanmar. It is believed that paying homage to the Buddha brings good fortune. Temple admission is included.

Visit the temple. Dazaifu Shrine, Fukuoka's oldest and most famous Shinto temple, is home to the god of knowledge. Students and scholars flock here daily to pray for success in their studies. In spring, the temple grounds are lined with over 6,000 plum trees of various varieties, creating a delightful atmosphere. In front of the shrine, a statue of a sacred cow resides on a pedestal. It's believed that stroking its head will bring wisdom and good health, which is why people fondly pat it. Dazaifu Shrine is home to numerous shops and souvenir shops, including a stylish Starbucks, where you can grab a coffee and take photos. Local souvenirs are also available at over 100 shops in front of the temple, including a famous sweet shop called "Umegae Mochi," a sweet made from red beans wrapped in glutinous rice dough and grilled. Afterward, shop for high-quality cosmetics, dietary supplements, and accessories at duty-free shops. Many products are available at affordable prices, though some are locally produced and cannot be purchased elsewhere. Continue to Gundam Park, a must-see for Gundam fans. This is a paradise for Gundam enthusiasts. Mitsui Shopping Park LalaPort Fukuoka is divided into three zones: GUNDAM SIDE-F, featuring a wide selection of Gundam models, including rare limited editions, is a must-visit. Next, there's VS PARK WITH G, an area filled with Gundam-themed activities. There's also Namco, an arcade area with special games available only here. The highlight is the newest, 24.8-meter-tall Gundam statue, perfect for taking photos.

- Canal City Hakata: A luxurious shopping and entertainment destination, offering a variety of products in one place. It features a movie theater, game center, hotel, and over 250 brand-name stores, both authentic Japanese and international. For those who are tired of shopping and need to recharge, there are a variety of restaurants. On the 5th floor, there's Ramen Stadium, also known as a food court specializing in ramen. Choose your favorite restaurant and sample Hakata ramen. It's also the filming location for the drama "Love You to the Sky."
- Marinoa City Outlet: This large seaside shopping mall is located in the eastern part of Hakata. Most of the stores are local brands, but there are also Some international brands include Coach, Gap, Beams, Wacoal, and Triumph. The shops are both outlets and regular stores, mostly focused on fashion design, including shoes, bags, clothing, and sportswear. There are also home décor and accessories, children's items, and a game zone. There's also a Ferris wheel.
- Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall, located underground at Tenjin Station, is a large shopping center with over a hundred shops to choose from. The mall is divided into blocks, lined up along the 600-meter-long walkway. The overall atmosphere and the various shops are charmingly decorated, evoking a 19th-century European feel. Most products are locally produced and created by local brands, catering to teenagers and working adults, especially fashion, accessories, and clothing.
- Hakata Kawabata Shopping Street, the oldest covered shopping street in Hakata. This shopping street is smaller than the others, with over a hundred shops along both sides of the 400-meter walkway offering a wide selection of clothing, food, and household goods. The highlight here is the tofu-based products, including the locally famous tofu mask. And authentic Fukuoka soy milk products are a must-try.
- Yatai Food Stalls along the River. Food carts, also known as yatai, are one of Fukuoka's signature dishes. Typically, yatai stalls only have six to ten seats and offer quick, filling meals. There are approximately 150 stalls throughout the city, but the most interesting area, which has become a popular tourist attraction, is the southern part of Nakasu Island in central Fukuoka. There are about 10 yatai restaurants clustered along the scenic riverside promenade.
