Morning: Breakfast at the hotel (Meal 2).
Visit the Otokoyama Sake Brewery Museum, a museum dedicated to the history of Otokoyama, a delicious Japanese sake with a fragrant rice aroma and a light, smooth texture. The museum uses underground water flowing from the Daisetsuzan Mountains, one of Japan's 100 most famous mountains, and premium rice grains. The cold temperatures of Asahikawa make it ideal for sake brewing, and the sake brewing culture is a traditional Japanese industry. The museum also exhibits important documents from the Edo period and various tools used in sake brewing.
Check in and take photos at Asahiyama Zoo (tour fee includes admission). Discover new perspectives. For up-close animal viewing, try the underwater glass tunnel where you can see penguins swimming below, or the polar bear habitat. Various activities and shows will evoke smiles and unforgettable memories.
(Note: The penguin parade will begin around mid-December 2025 and run until mid-March 2026, with the morning tour starting around 11:00 AM. **The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions, including snowfall, at the zoo's discretion.)
**If you are unable to visit Asahiyama Zoo due to natural disasters, closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, the company reserves the right to adjust the program without prior notice, taking into account your safety.**

An interesting viewpoint along the way is the Ken & Mary Tree, the scenery used in the commercial "Skyline" of Nissan Motor Company in the 1970s, making people stop by to take souvenir photos for a long time. This view of the trees under the sky with floating clouds reminds me of the novels I read when I was a child. The Seven Stars Tree got this cool name because this tree was used as an image on the pack of SEVEN STARS cigarettes in 1976. The view of the giant oak tree standing gracefully on the hill is a picture that is relaxing to look at. Especially at dusk under the sky full of stars, it is a view that will impress you. Hokusei Hill Observatory is an observatory in the shape of a pyramid. Enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Biei City. There are also sweet shops, souvenir shops, ice cream shops, and restaurants.
