Afterward, travel to Kyoto, a city known as the epicenter of Japanese art and culture. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, a sacred site in Kyoto, home to the Goddess of Rice, the goddess of crops and grain, a long-standing deity revered by the Japanese people. People often come to pray for a bountiful life. Inside the shrine, you will pay homage to both the Goddess of Rice and the Kitsune, a deity believed to be messengers from heaven who bring messages and blessings from the gods to the human world. You'll be amazed by the numerous fox statues lining the shrine grounds. Then, continue your walk to the vermilion torii gates, a renowned symbol of the shrine. Tens of thousands of torii gates cascade down the mountainside for over four kilometers, creating a mystical and beautiful atmosphere that was chosen as a key scene in the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha," in which the heroine, Sayuri, runs under the torii gates to pray for her wish to be granted.

Visit Togetsukyo Bridge, also known as "Moon Bridge," a prominent landmark in Kyoto's Arashiyama district. The scenery is particularly beautiful in spring, when cherry blossoms bloom, and autumn, when the changing leaves reflect on the water's surface, making it a popular photo spot for tourists from around the world. Then, continue your journey to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, another world-renowned highlight of Kyoto. The walking trail follows the path along the paths. The majestic bamboo groves line both sides of the road, separated by small bamboo fences, creating a 500-meter-long walkway. When the wind blows, the bamboo sways, creating a calming and relaxing sound. This is a popular spot for tourists to stop and take photos, as well as experience the authentic Japanese atmosphere. Continue to Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the "Golden Pavilion," one of Kyoto's most important landmarks. It is the only Edo-era government office that has survived the modern era. Inside, it houses courtrooms, prison cells, a kitchen, and staff quarters. Explore the beauty of Takayama, which still retains a truly traditional Japanese townscape. Admission is approximately 430 yen per person, and prices are subject to change. Then, stroll through the Sanmachi Suji Old Town, lined with charming houses and shops that still retain the style of houses from the Edo period over 300 years ago. Shop for local souvenirs and soak up the memorable atmosphere. Enjoy sake, miso soup, and Sarubobo dolls, traditional dolls from ancient times. While you’re in the Sanmachi Suji Old Town, This area is full of delicious food. As you walk along the streets, you'll find a variety of tempting restaurants lining both sides. The cold weather calls for a warming treat. The first recommended dish is mitarashi dango, grilled glutinous rice cakes coated in sweet miso sauce. It's a must-try for everyone, whether children or adults. Another must-try is the Hida beef sushi, guaranteed deliciousness with a long line outside the restaurant. This restaurant serves high-quality A4-A5 Wagyu beef sushi. This set includes a beef rice ball topped with green onions and gunkan maki. Explore Shirakawa-go, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. Discover traditional gassho-zukuri houses. This traditional Japanese style house is named after the word gassho, which means "hands together," referring to the house's 60-degree roof, resembling two hands clasped together. The house is approximately 18 meters long and 10 meters wide. The structure was built without a single nail, yet it remains strong enough to withstand heavy winter snowfall.
