Afterward, travel to Kyoto, a city known as a true center of Japanese art and culture. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, home to the Goddess of Rice, a highly revered deity who comes to pray for abundant crops. Pay homage to the Goddess of Rice and the fox deity, whom the Japanese consider to be messengers of heaven and earth. Marvel at the numerous statues of fox deities and continue on to the Torii Shrine. Admire the shrine's symbolic red gates, over a hundred of which stretch along a 4-kilometer-long, tiered mountainside path. This was the setting for the movie "MEMORIES OF GEISHA," where Sayuri, the heroine, runs under the gates to pray to the gods for her wishes to come true.
Lunch will be served at a special restaurant. Enjoy a Japanese-style shabu-shabu buffet.
Then, travel to Nagoya to experience the Nabana no Sato Winter Illumination at Nabana no Sato, a theme park with fields of flowers blooming throughout the four seasons. It's a popular destination year-round, especially during the fall and late winter months.

The "Moon Bridge," a symbol of Kyoto's Arashiyama district, spans the Katsura River (also known as the Hozugawa) flowing through the mountains behind. The scenery here is beautiful year-round, especially in spring when cherry blossoms bloom and autumn when the changing leaves reflect on the water's surface, making it a popular photo spot for tourists from around the world.
Next, we'll travel to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, another world-renowned highlight of Kyoto. The path runs alongside tall bamboo trees, neatly lined up on both sides, separated by small bamboo fences, forming a walkway approximately 500 meters long. When the wind blows, the bamboo trees sway, creating a calming and relaxing sound. This is a popular spot for tourists to stop and take photos, and experience the authentic Japanese atmosphere. We'll then continue to Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the "Golden Pavilion," one of Kyoto's most important landmarks. Built by Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu built the temple in the 14th century as a private retreat. His son later transformed it into a Zen temple. Although the original Golden Pavilion was destroyed by fire in 1950, it was restored in 1955 to its original splendor. The building is intricately covered in gold leaf on every level, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Japan at that time. The temple grounds are surrounded by Japanese-style gardens and the Kyoko-chi (Kyoko-chi) pond, whose crystal clear water reflects the castle itself, creating a picturesque scene. Enjoy the tranquility and capture some of Kyoto's most beautiful views.

We'll take you to Takayama, Gifu Prefecture, a prefecture rich in beautiful nature and friendly people, known for its quaintness. “Little Kyoto” is a charming little town nestled in a valley that perfectly preserves its temples, shrines, rivers, bridges, morning markets, and the atmosphere of old Kyoto. Visit one of the most important historical sites, the Takayama Old Government Office, which served as both the office and residence of the governor of Hida Prefecture for over 176 years under the rule of the Tokugawa Shogunate during the Edo period, over 300 years ago. It is the only Edo-era government office that has survived the modern era. Inside, you’ll find courtrooms, prison cells, a kitchen, and staff quarters. Explore Takayama, a city that still retains its authentic Japanese charm. Admission is not included, and the price is approximately 430 yen per person. Prices are subject to change. Then, stroll through the historic Sanmachi Suji district, lined with charming houses and shops that still resemble the Edo period of over 300 years. Shop for local souvenirs and soak up the memorable atmosphere. Enjoy a selection of sake, miso soup, and Sarubobo dolls, traditional Japanese dolls. Arriving in the historic Sanmachi Suji district, you're sure to find delicious food. Strolling along the streets, you'll find a variety of tempting restaurants lining both sides. The cold weather calls for a warming treat. Our first recommendation is mitarashi dango, grilled glutinous rice cakes coated in sweet miso sauce. This dish is a must-try for anyone visiting, whether children or adults. Another must-try is the Hida beef sushi, guaranteed deliciousness with a long line outside the restaurant. This restaurant serves high-quality A4-A5 Wagyu beef sushi. This set includes a beef rice ball topped with green onions and gunkan maki. The beef is seasoned with Takezumi (bamboo) salt, ginger, and soy sauce, and served on a sembei (rice cracker) cake. The tender, melt-in-your-mouth moment is sure to be worth the wait.

Take a tour of Shirakawa-go Village. This village, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, boasts traditional Japanese houses in the Gassho-zukuri style. The name comes from the word "gassho," which means "hands together," referring to the houses' 60-degree pitched roofs, resembling two hands clasped together. The houses are approximately 18 meters long and 10 meters wide, and are constructed without a single nail, yet remain sturdy enough to withstand heavy winter snowfall.

Located on the slopes of Higashiyama Hill, this large and ancient temple is built on the grounds of Higashiyama Hill. The main hall's balcony is constructed using horizontally stacked logs, which support the main hall's balcony. The balcony, constructed without nails, is anchored using a wedge-like construction similar to traditional Thai houses. This temple is more ancient than Kyoto itself, over 1,200 years old. It is home to the deity Ebisu, the god of wealth and prosperity, and the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. From this balcony, you can take in some of the most beautiful photos in Kyoto, offering stunning views of Kyoto and the temple's main hall. Enjoy the three sacred waters naturally flowing from the mountains, believed to represent wealth; beauty and handsomeness; and strength. Then, we'll take you to Teapot Street, where you'll explore Japanese shops decorated in the Edo period and purchase authentic Japanese souvenirs. For example, Japan's most famous mochi, available in a variety of flavors, including traditional red bean paste, strawberry, and chocolate. Alternatively, you can sample Kyoto tea and Kyoto dolls, the most famous symbol of Japan: the geisha, a doll dressed in the traditional kimono, making a valuable and affordable souvenir.
