Breakfast is served at the hotel restaurant.
Departure to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the city where the Declaration of Independence was first adopted during the founding of the United States. Admire the Liberty Bell, a bell that holds significant significance in American history. It was the bell that rang after the declaration of independence from the British Empire in 1776. The bell was chosen because it bears a poignant inscription about freedom: "Liberty be upon every man who dwells on this land," which perfectly aligns with the purpose of the Declaration of Independence. The Liberty Bell, weighing 2,080 pounds, has been the city bell of Philadelphia since 1753. It is rung at meetings and important events, before being used to declare independence. It is then rung to mourn the deaths of deceased delegates. The bell began to show cracks in 1835 and cracked after being struck to celebrate President George Washington's birthday. This led the US government to cancel the frequent ringing of the bell to maximize its lifespan. Visit Independence Hall, the site of the Declaration of Independence, located in a Philadelphia park. The Declaration was proclaimed in 1776. Written by Thomas Jefferson, the Declaration declared the 13 American colonies to secede from Britain.
