Passport & Visa South Sudan

Visitors to South Sudan must obtain an Electronic visa unless they are of a South Sudanese origin, come from one of the visa exempt countries or they come from one of the countries whose citizens are eligible for visa on arrival. Citizens of Egypt and Tanzania do not require a visa to enter South Sudan.

 

South Sudanese Nationals: Nationals holding South Sudanese Passports do not need to acquire a visa to travel to South Sudan. South Sudanese Nationals who are traveling with American Passports and U.S. Travel Documents require a visa and must fulfill all the necessary procedures.

 

American Nationals and holders of U.S. Green Cards, who are traveling to South Sudan with American Passports, and U.S. Travel Documents, must fulfill all visa requirements and will be CHARGED a visa fee of USD 160.00.

 

Canadian Citizens and South Sudanese Nationals, who are traveling on Canadian Passports, must fulfill all visa requirements mentioned above and will be CHARGED a visa fee of USD 160.00.

 

African and Asians: Nationals traveling to South Sudan with African and Asian Passports must fulfill all visa requirements and will be CHARGED a visa fee of USD 50.00.

 

European Nationals Traveling to South Sudan with European Passports must fulfill all visa requirements and will be CHARGED a visa fee of USD 100.00.

 

All other passports not included in these categories will be charged visa fees based on the principle of reciprocity (meaning that the South Sudanese Embassy would impose the same amount that country is charging South Sudanese nationals).
