Indonesian public holidays are as follows;

January 1 New Year's Day

February 12 Chinese New Year

March 11 Isra and Mi’raj

March 13 Nyepi Bali holidays

April 2 Good Friday

May 1 International Labor Day

May 13 Heaven's Party

May 13-14 Eid

June 1 Pancasila Day

July 20 Eid al – Adha

August 10 Islamic new year

August 17 Independence day

Since 1 January 1988, Indonesia has divided the time zone into 3 zones:

1) Western Indonesia Standard Time (GMT + 7 hours) covers Sumatra. And some parts of Java are Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta and East Java.

2) Central Indonesia Standard Time (GMT + 8 hours) covers East and West Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan Islands. All provinces of Sulawesi and Bali.

3) Eastern Indonesia Standard Time (GMT + 9 hours) covers all provinces of Moluku and Papua.

 

For the office hours of most government offices and government organizations, they are open from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Saturday, 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM

 

The bank is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

 

Post Office Telegraph Open for business Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM -2:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM -11:00 AM, Saturday 8:00 AM -12:30 PM

 

Company, shop, industrial factory Open for business from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

 

Incidentally, for Muslim countries. On Friday afternoon, businesses often shut down to allow workers to go to prayers.
